DCW Permanency Resources
The permanency services unit at the Division of Child Welfare is split into two sub-teams. The placement support team includes adoption, foster care, relative guardianship assistance, kinship care, recruitment, and retention, and the ongoing services team includes an in-home and out-of-home specialist, a permanency specialist, and an Indian Child Welfare Act specialist. The team oversees the rules, regulations, and practice of these areas of child welfare for the state of Colorado.
