Colorado Youth Awareness Week (CYAW)Save the Dates (7/24-30/22)

History
Born in Southern Colorado city of Pueblo, Youth Awareness Week started in 2015. The first two years the event was known as “Pueblo Youth Awareness Week”. The event quickly grew in success and spread throughout the state of Colorado to become known as “Colorado Youth Awareness Week” (CYAW) by 2017.

PurposeThe Colorado Youth Leadership Network (COLYN) is sponsoring CYAW, July 24 – 30, 2022, to emphasize positive youth voice and to celebrate the influence youth have in our state and local communities, as well as recognizing the positive achievements and contributions they have made. The week also recognizes the various organizations and advocates that involve Colorado’s youth and help guide them toward positive life choices and stability.

Join Colorado communities who have designed events during the week of CYAW with this thought in mind: “Know your community- For your community”.
