Moinette Dickens, MSW, has more than 25 years of experience in the field of social work. Working with and on behalf of children and families of color in the Five Points Curtis Park Community, developing and implementing Kinship support groups, juvenile diversion groups, life skill groups for incarcerated youth, and for 4th and 5th grade Hispanic and Black boys in the Cherry Creek School District. She was an executive director at a child placement agency, worked in the Bay Area at Dr. Amen’s Brain Imaging Clinic, most recently was an emergency response worker in Richmond, CA and worked with the competency population in the Denver and El Paso County Jails as a Forensic Navigator. She is a very proud foster aunt of 17 years to sweet babies with special needs.

Moinette is committed to advancing equitable inclusion and advocacy while bridging key programs and stakeholders to ensure effective implementation of policies and promoting comprehensive support for diverse families. With a focus on equity, she strives to enhance systemic outcomes that foster inclusive practices across all initiatives.

Moinette received her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Metropolitan State University of Denver with a minor in African American studies and her Master of Social Work from the University of Denver.
